T E R M I N O L O G Y

The Triad Classes--As listed below.

Liberated--Canines who have freed themselves from domestication; dogs that are feral by choice--members of The Liberated pack.

Repressed--Canines dwelling in captivity, or under the facilitation of humans. 

Defectors--Canines devoutly against the doctrines of The Liberated; can be strays or domestic dogs. 

The Axiom--Code or order of commandments by which The Liberated live.

The Echelons--The system of hierarchy employed by The Liberated. 

The Ancients--Ancient canines who existed prior to domestication (wolves and other wild dogs), who serve as spiritual entities by which The Liberated model their doctrines.



T H E  A X I O M

1. I must uphold the principles of The Ancients, I must defy the oppression of imprisonment.
2. As such, I honor the pride of my ancestors, and hunt for my meals. I will not be caught scavenging like the Repressed--hand outs from humans or the Repressed is a dishonor.
3. It is my duty and honor to offer freedom to the Repressed. I will deny no dog the right to hear the mission of the Liberated.
4. The territory is sacred. I vow to protect it from all outside threats and Defectors.
5. I will honor the doctrine of the Echelons, and serve my role among the Liberated to the best of my ability.
6. I will not revert to the ways of the Repressed so long as I live.
7. The Axiom is my creed, and should I defile it, I accept my fate as a Defector and enemy of the Liberated. It is my honor to be Liberated, and I will follow the path of the Ancients and persist to defend the license of free dogs everywhere.

S I T E  G U I D E L I N E S

⇝ The principles of higher level, mature RP are expected to be maintained through literary integrity, originality, and authenticity. Practices such as plagiarism, whether involving another roleplayer's characters or diction, is prohibited. 

⇝ Members are expected to be active. After three warnings from an administrator regarding the need for RP participation, accounts will be removed. 

⇝ Only breeds/mixed breeds of DOMESTICATED dogs are permitted in the roleplay. Any variation of wild canids (wolves, wolf hybrids, etc.) are prohibited.

⇝ While conflict is a natural aspect of the RP, members are not allowed to attempt to "kill" or permanently damage other player's characters. Additionally, fight scenes are expected to be realistic, with fair responses to attacks. 

⇝ Overtly crass conduct in RP, (excessive name calling, unnecessary sexual discussion, etc.) will not be tolerated--mature, realistic RP is the goal here, if you couldn't already tell.

⇝ Drama between site members should not permeate RP, and practices such as bullying or harassment should be reported to admins. 

⇝ Realism is key. Rainbow dogs, powerplaying, supernatural abilities, etc., are all prohibited. 

⇝ Submissions MUST be posted to the Submissions folder in order to obtain membership, NO EXCEPTIONS.

⇝ If an administrator has to confront a user regarding violations of any of the prior guidelines, three warnings will be issued to users before being removed, excluding plagiarism, which will result in immediate removal from Resurgence.
