esta declined her regal head to inspect the atrocious, criminal carnage, barely phased by the brisk jaunt to the border, the chilled gale pouring from the open moor of no-man's land teasing her coarse ruff. However, the Delegate seemed largely impervious to the grotesque appearance and percolating aroma of death, instead, she concentrated entirely on the logical.

"I don't understand, this is a pet rabbit. How did it--"

Suddenly, an overhwelmingly thunderous, artificial explosion ripped through the placid air, and the unsactified, alien whir of some sort of metallic projectile whizzed between the two females. Vesta jerked her head up immediately, with hostile rigidity. When her intense sienna lamps focused on the countenance of no-man's land, her ears flicked to her poll immediately, alarm rising rapidly in the Malinois's austere expression.

Humans. Two of them, a male and a female, were aggressively traipsing across the silken landscape of sagegrass, the obtrusive early dawn lambency reducing their visages to ominous silhouettes, the sleek, lateral form of a rifle propped in the arm of the male.

"Hyun-Ok," Vesta began, her usually crisp, authoritative growl reduced to a bizarrely hushed, feminine tenor, "Run. Stay on my heels, and do not look back."

With that, Vesta pivoted on her hocks, and bounded into the shelter of the coppice, a blurred firebrand of murky chestnut pigment, "Liberated! To me! Retreat to the Underpass!" She cried, her immense, reverberating bark bouncing through the timber and resonating in the canopy. She suddenly hesitated, and threw back her noble head, and parted her lips.

A deep, panic-stricken, lupine howl erupted from deep within the Delegate's throat--a sonance demanding unity, and capitulation. She glanced hastily back at the Jindo dog, to be sure she was keeping pace with her own, extensive, agile strides, eyes still swimming with disconcerted terror.

Skell threw her cranium into the air as she heard gun fire, an all too well known sound for her. She turned swiftly at hearing Vesta's call. Without thinking, she grabbed Ravika and threw her in front of her, shoving her chest into the large females rear. ''Run! Don't think! Run to Vesta!'' Skell launched her body after the streaking pelt of Ravika, staring directly to her right as she saw the light glitstening off the hair of an angry female human and her mate following close behind. Skell's instinct was to turn and protect her pack just as she would protect her trainer in combat but she did not do so. There was only one thing on the Admiral's mind at this moment, and that was to get the pack together and retreat. Skell was incredibly worried about the Cicerone. She shook the thought from her head and kept running, keeping herself at Ravika's rear.

The gunshot alarmed Hyun-Ok, as she looked back, seeing the belligerent face of the Male human and his companion. She kept on Vesta's heels, her strides precipitate and supple, Hyun-Ok's appendages breaking into a sprint. " 빌어먹을..." She muttered between pants. She finally reached the Underpass, pillars acheing. "What was that?" Hyun-Ok asked, optics stretched wide in uneasiness and consternation.

s the Delegate turned to lead the discordant, terror stricken retreat, another deafening roar of the rifle disrupted the air with an explosive cacauphony. Instantly, Vesta let out an excrutiated keen, which decrescendoed into a splenetically wrathful snarl, her sinewy legs buckling briefly, distinctive beads of crimson liquid splattering the tawny leaf litter. Vesta stumbled only once, before hastily regaining her balance, a bloody aperture blown into the side of her right ear, florid ruby fluid pouring into the right portion of her countenance, smearing across her distinctive mask of onyx.

However, half blinded by excrutiating agony and leaking blood on her right side, the young Malinois recomposed herself, an effigy of rugged brutality and resilience, and cantered dauntlessly after the smaller female, skidding to a clumsy halt before the cavernous entrance to the neglected mine shaft.

"LIBERATED! Retreat to the Underpass! The outer border has been compromised!" She barked again, thick, vermillion beads hinged on her eyelid, withers shuddering with repressed trauma, though her commanding Belgian command rang through the peripheral territory with resounding reverberation. Vesta rigidly flickered her head to Hyun-Ok, unrelenting titian eyes still enraptured with unyielding flame, intonnation returned to its authoritative staccato.

"It was a gunshot, and what it did to my ear, it will do to a heart, a spine. We must fall back to the rail car. Go inside and wait where it's safe...I need to make sure everyone is accounted for." She behested shortly, nodding once to the East Asian canine, the porous entry wound in the fringe of her triangular ear increasingly depositing a stream of crimson into her brow, compact paws braced against the earth like foundational pillars.

Skell allowed Ravika to bound farther ahead of her, she could not see any of the other dogs but could definently smell their fear scent. She turned and face the thickets where the usual canines slept. Skell lifted ehr muzzle and released a loud and fearsome bark at the people, trying to distract them if only for a moment, as they were headed for the entrence to the tunnel. Skell stayed out of eye sight and slammed her paws into a pile of leaf litter, making a loud crunching noise. As the people headed in the direction of the sound, Skell turned tail and fled, heading straight after Ravika and into the tunnel.

As she passed Vesta, Skell saw the wound in her ear, but knew it would not stop the Delegate from defending her pack. ''I can not find the Cicerone! Nor have I seen any of the other members!'' Skell reported loudly, before halting and waiting for Vesta's orders.

Edacious yearnings plagued the environs of her abdomen, coaxing her phlegmatic canter into an expeditious trot. The sun, now fully risen, bore down on her luxurious gown of sable guard hairs. The same kestrel from previously descended in a plunge of feathers before extending the feathered extremities and urging them into a cogent down-beat. It was not until she had unburdened herself with the extensive verdure that the uncanny detonation of a bullet suspended her imperturbable advancements. The amaroidal essence of gun-powder— she knew it anywhere.

Pivoting on dainty foundations, she left the boundaries of No-Man’s land. There was no use lingering.

The atmosphere had become deadly quiet; even the birds in their enthusiastic flights were overcome with a sense of foreboding. A young leveret drilled its hind brackets before evacuating the vicinity. The urging yips of a fox clipped the silence, only to be consumed by the reticence.

Ravika's bewildered onyx frame bounded into the tunnel, severe pants hurtling from her chest. She gulped up air, trying to compure herself. Her limber yet large physique trembled slightly, anxiousness lingering in an aura upon the hellion, as Ravika stood there, dumbfounded. She closed her striking amber luminaries for a moment, rehearsing the scene which had happened before her. The ear-shrilling sound of gunshots pierced the solemn atmosphere, throwing a frantic aura upon the canines in the territory. Ravika opened her visionaries, her audits flickering over to Vesta, waiting for an explanation of some sort.

The soundings of howls and a gunshot caused the brute to jump in his skin, alarmed oculars wandering the domicile outside. Sin jumped to his feet agitatedly, appendages surging him onwards into a sprint after distinguishing the coast was clear. He ran on hastily hurdling his large form over foliage and other obstacles that stood in his way until eventually the Underpass came into his line of vision. The scent of blood left a nauseating reek in the air yet it was mingled with the resilient fragrance of his companions assuring him that they were in fact nearby.

Slipping into the shadows of the tunnel Sin slowed his pace, luminaries locking onto the forms of the Delegate and numerous of the other Liberated. With a brief sigh of relief he looked slightly startled as he walked over to the assembly, wondering if he could be of assistance or perhaps be enlightened regarding the situation.

Hyun-Ok's optics stretched in fear, as she dashed towards the Malinois. "But Vesta, I can't leave you behind like this!" She barked, her voice filled with despondency. More gunshots ran out, as Hyun-Ok tried to guide the Delegate to asylum. A bullet grazed the Canis familiaris's pillar slightly, as she gritted her ivories, bearing the pain. "Vesta, please, I need to bring you to safety!" Hyun-Ok whined, as she attempted to drag the Malinois towards the rail car.

(Ravika, the Liberated have discovered the dead domestic rabbit Verbeke left at their border. In retaliation, the humans, assuming that the wild dogs were the culprit, are attacking the Liberated. Vesta has been shot in the ear, and is currently trying to gather everyone together to travel down the Underpass, to reach the rail car, the backup rendezvous site.)

nveloped in discordant perturbation, Vesta's attention was partitioned between Hyun-Ok and Skell, her right eye entirely smeared with crimson at this point, ear lax and mutilated, though she remained physically resolute, astride the entrance of the Underpass like the Colossus, physique configured into a tension wrought carriage, braced against Hyun-Ok, pleading.

"One last call...one last summonce..." Vesta panted in protest, straining against the deluge of pain. Engulfing a deep, staunch breath, she elevated her maw to the mid morning sky, and let forth a commanding cry for her comrades to convene, a disjointed, agonized howl, that shuddered in the depths of her fauces with pained vibrato. As her authoritative sonance gave way to a muted, dilated snarl of distress, she finally capitulated, and fell back, retreating into the ambiguous darkness of the Underpass.

The dicontinued mine shaft was permeated with the humid, earthy aroma of detritus, accented with the metallic tang of blood, the temperature significantly lower than that of the outside world, the tunnel entirely dark, but sheltered from the onslaught at the border.

Skells legs shook underneath her as she stood, her head hanging and her shoulders slumped. Her claws raked the earth below her and she clenched her eyes shut. She shook away the feeling of terror and turned to Vesta, watching the Delegate struggle to stand. Skell slinked over next to her, and supported her with a shoulder. ''Vesta you've called out enough, you need to rest. Everyone is smart and they have found a place to hide by now. We, are still visible. We need to retreat farther into the tunnel.'' She spoke clearly, trying to coax the female into the saftey of the tunnel.

The onyx femmora swallowed hard, her throat dried out from shock. She was trembling violently by now, still shaken terribly by the bewildering and unpresumed attack. The defector which has caused this, would yet to be punished severely. Ravika suppressed yet another sigh, once more trying to compose herself into a normal solemn state. She hated surprises, and this situation, proved that she had a right to do so. Shaking out her ebony hide, the vixen gazed at the other fellow canines, her banner flickering in anxiousness.

Jacob lifted his cranium at once, alerted by the several sounds of gunshots. Nostalgia surged through his chest as he recognized the dead, echoing sounds, rumbling across the plains and seeming to shatter the already broken glass that strained in the filthy windows. His hearing wasn't that good, but a gunshot would always catch his attention, no matter how far.

The Schäferhund waited, frozen, audits perked  at any signs of the others', until Vets'a call. He snarled and sprang himself forward with powerful hindquarters, breaking into a run. The large canine raced through the shrubs and plains until he reached the Underpass, which would be the most secure place to gather. The others must be here too, he guessed, entering the shadowy tunnel.

They were certainly there, most of them anyway. Jacob sighed and turned to Vesta, immediately eyeing her ear, the wound being dubiously familiar. ''What happened?'' he inquired, his voice hinted with a growl born deep down his throat, a declaim against humans. The canid had never really hated them, as he had seen their good side, but this had utterly changed his opinion.

(I'm sorry but i'm gonna have to cut this post short, i my father has returned :c)

Kash cranium instantly elevates, the boisterous explosion of the bullet released from the barrel of the gun caused his sensitive ears to ring severely. The brute's khaki visionaries briefly scrutinized his surroundings, and identified two humans of opposite gender. He released an acerbic growl, but was cut short when he detected Vesta's warning howl. He scented the damsel, along with Skell, on the other side of the barren turf but they we're no where in sight. His gaze flashed with slight apprehesion but it was immediately replaced with determination, and fixated his sights on the two humans. They were in his path, so the male would either have to make a run for or attempted to sneak around them.

"Where is Squawk?" Hyun-Ok growled, her tassel twitching with exasperation. Taking a leaf, she pressured it on Vesta's audit, hoping to stop the bleeding. Muttering words of hope, Hyun-Ok tried to coax the wounded Delegate. "Its gonna be alright..." She muttered. Her own wound was bleeding, but she couldnt tend to it now. Vesta was injured. She would just have to wait..
