[Rin]~Egypt (culturally mature, unique blend of modern and ancient architecture. Balance and mysticism.)

[Athena]~Hong Kong (symbol of free market economy, luxury, modernism, and production. Home to wealthy business moguls and neon cityscapes. A luxuriant "dog eat dog" environment.)

[Hyun-Ok]~South Korea *of course* (culture emphasizes hospitality, and what the individual can do to serve others rather than themselves. Solidarity in the face of negative adversity (North Korea), aesthetically clean, modern, and peaceful.)

[Jacob]~Australia (rugged, proud, and friendly. Strong sense of patriotism, but stays out of world affairs. Jovial, hospitable people, in an inhospitable place.)

[Kash]~Mongolia (Ancient, epicenter of arcane, mysterious civilizations. Harsh, deadly environment with enigmatic people whose lives are centered around survival and spiritualism; a country founded by fierce warriors and brutal landscapes.)

[Ma'at]~Switzerland (Balanced, neutral, socially secure. Prefers to evade international conflicts, and instead maintains domestic equilibrium, and its independence from world conflicts has stood the test of time.)

[Ravika]~France (Romantic, regal, artistic. Free-spirited people with excellent taste in the art forms, emphasis on interpersonal relationships and respect for art and history. Symbolizes romance and aestheticism.)

[Satomi]~United States (Emphasis on the individual, bold, unapologetic, occasionally crass. A country that pushes value of self over value of others. Characterized by beautiful untamed landscapes, and fast paced governement/economics.)

[Sin]~Russia (Obstinate, mysterious, enduring, history of social strife and injustice. Russia outwardly presents communal humility and even opulent regality, but in reality, has suffered a long history of bitter revolution and social injustice.)

[Skell]~Great Britain (Brave, to the point, proud, dominant. Britain has proved its leaderhsip countless times during the world wars, and exhibits a strong sense of responsibility and patriotism, but on the flip side, has been imperialistic in the control of other countries.)

[Squawk]~Turkey (Culturally diverse, chaotic, colorful, outspoken. Turkey is a country that proudly emphasizes its own traditions and customs, and through its solidarity has survived in its position near almost constantly warring countries, but deals with ethnic strife of its own, and can easily be unwelcoming.

[Vesta]~Germany (Industrious, strong emphasis on intellect and personal hard work/integrity. Militaristic, dauntless, but with a long history of violence and imperalism, eagerness to instigate wars and conquer neighboring countries. Landscape is ruggedly beautiful, and the people tend to be reserved and professionally focused.)

[Verbeke]~ Iraq (Controlling, manipulative, chaotic. A strong controller of resources, Iraq uses its dominion over oil sales to bend other nations to its will, and experience tumultuous social dissent within its own borders.)

You guys I am so proud of this.

Studio Ghibli is a branch of Disney, which is weird, but Hayao Miyazaki and John Lasseter are hella bros.

Yeah it's weird, but they're part of the Disney empire. Howl's Moving Castle was the first one I ever saw (I was like twelve or thirteen??) it blew my mind. I was literally like, um, so why aren't all animated movies like this???
